Cheltenham Township Police Department (CTPD) is very proud to announce the formation of the Cheltenham Police Athletic League (PAL). The mission of Cheltenham PAL will be to provide a safe, positive and fun atmosphere for Cheltenham youth ages 8-18 to develop various aspects of their lives including, but not limited to academics, athletics, social interaction, nutrition, life skills, the arts and community service.
Cheltenham PAL was formed to provide all of these things while creating a strong and positive relationship between the CTPD and the youth of Cheltenham Township. The organizations "Kick-off Event" will be on Saturday January 14, 2017 at Arcadia University located at 450 S. Easton Rd in Glenside. The event will be from 12pm-3pm and will take place in the dome next to the softball field.
In order to register, kids must be between 8-18 years of age and a resident of Cheltenham Township. A school ID or copy of a report card would be acceptable as proof of residency.
There are additional dates for "Pre" registration at the Cheltenham Police Station located at 8230 Old York Rd, Elkins Park PA 19027. We recommend that you Pre-register if possible.
Saturday December 3rd from 10am-2pm
Saturday December 10th from 10am-2pm
Saturday December 17th from 10am-2pm
There will also be a registration table at the kick off event.
Cheltenham PAL will be looking for volunteers, donations and sponsors as we progress. Cheltenham PAL is a non-profit 501 C3 organization. Our website is currently under construction. Please like and follow the Cheltenham Pal facebook page for event information.
